Miss Hawaii signs with Jet Set Models Hawaii Red Magazine Article: And the crown goes to… Renee Nobriga! Nobriga is 2010’s Miss Hawaii USA. This was Nobriga’s third turn in the Miss Hawaii USA Pageant. Her first try in 2008, gained her second runner up, not bad for a first timer. When she tried again in 2009, she received first runner up. Believing in the power of perseverance, Nobriga tried again. Apparently it is three times the charm for Nobriga, because this time she took home the crown. Next Nobriga will be competing for the coveted Miss USA 2010 title in Las Vegas on May 16th. Miss Hawaii USA 2010 Renee Nobriga Originally from Oahu’s North Shore, she is an active member both in and out of her community. She supports various charities including the American Heart Association, Adult Friends for Youth, Helemano Wellness Center, and the Hawaii Food Bank. Nobriga strives to provide a positive example for today’s youth. As a new ambassador of Aloha, Nobriga shares her personal philosophy: “Be humble, respectful, honest, and never take life too seriously!”
