SONYA BALMORES STARS IN 3RD SEASON ON TELEVISION SERIES FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (La Jolla, CA & Honolulu, HI)– Jet Set, the top agency of record for surf models and acting talent, is pleased to announce that Sonya Balmores is continuing in her starring role as “Kai” in the third season of “Beyond the Break” on The N, the nighttime network for teens created by MTV Networks. “Beyond the Break” is a dramatic teen series shot entirely on location in Oahu, Hawaii. The show drops in on the world of four passionate girls who pursue their dreams of becoming professional surfers. In order to remain afloat, each of them must overcome issues to capture surf stardom from WaveSync, a struggling surf company eager to reinvigorate itself. Sonya comments, “I was stoked to hear that we were picked up for fourteen more episodes. It is such a gift to shoot in Hawaii!” She continues, “The storylines in the third season are even juicier and I can't wait to see where our characters end up.
